Challenge

First issue was design. The former website was an old static web interface, unresponsive and barely appealing with key information scattered about making it almost impossible for users to locate the necessary information to make an informed decision on loan products.
Secondly, the loan application form was such that everything was done manually. Form was downloaded, printed, filled offline and returned, resulting in many paper works on both the company and user end.
These issues ultimately led to very low customer conversion rate

Solution

I worked with this brand to create a full on web re-design and re-purposing. Using a color scheme consistent with their brand logo, I created a dynamic and responsive website. After properly analysing user data, trends, heatmaps, page views & average time spent, an informed decision was taken to redesign the layout such that users followed content and loan products that not only appeal to them but also financially flexible for them.
A loan calculator was created (frontend) in a way whereby users would easily select desired loan amounts and what would be repaid for each loan tenor selected. Both amount and tenor are then automatically fed into the agreement form which in turn fed its data into a Third party application using API connection.

The form itself was made a custom and very dynamic one that allowed for user photo upload/selfie , save for later feature, email a copy to user, multipage amongst others.
